Please, assist my quest for a face that will not give a radscorpion a heart attack. So! I've seen that people around here have sported some pretty crazy appearance mods for the oblivion engine from time to time.

Like I mentioned in the title, I tried all the usual fixes: 1. When I went out to see if it worked I noticed that Sunny Smiles had a distinctly darker skin tone on her head compared to her body. Anyways, for some reason I cant get the faces to load correctly for some NPCs. Using Mod Manager I installed New Vegas Redesigned on top of Fallout Character Overhaul, and then the Type 3 body and armor replacer. It makes NPCs in-game more realistic, dead people will look more dead and NCR captured troops will look tortured. Maybe it's just the remarkably human-oid fellow you wake up next to, but New Vegas seems to be presenting you with the ugliest mug to date. The mod is linked here and you will need an account because of its adult tag. I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Oblivion-with-guns without feeling the need to get one of those 'better faces' mods.

After reinstalling Fallout Character Overhaul three seperate times, instructions carefully read, I still get missing textures instead of faces. posted in New Vegas Mod Troubleshooting: Right now its a really shitty situation of damned if you do, damned if you dont. Yesterday I loaded up F:NV, thrilled at the opening cutscene, entered my name, saw my face and instantly quit the game in disgust. of 7 - Fallout Character Overhaul causes missing face textures, if disabled, crashes the game after the opening cutscene. The day before yesterday, I familiarized myself with the latest flavor of SPECIAL and powergamed the hell out of it, practically drooling with anticipation.
